Avril Lavigne Is Dating Marilyn Manson

Marilyn Manson and Avril Lavigne are both single and, according to the latest report, ready to mingle. The two are actually dating but are yet to confirm their romance publicly.

After his divorce from burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese, Marilyn moved on with Evan Rachel Wood, to whom he was even engaged at one point.

However, since 2010, he's been mostly single, in the sense that he wasn't involved in any serious relationship.

Avril Lavigne, on the other hand, dated Brody Jenner for a couple of years, but they called it off sometime this year, presumably in January.

Since they're single and their paths happened to cross, the two discovered they have a lot of common, says a report in the latest print issue of Star magazine (story via CB).

Granted, Star isn't the most reliable glossy out there (if the term applies to any of them) but, as they say, there's rarely smoke without a fire so, even if they're not dating, there still could be some truth to this.

“Oh my Goth! Avril Lavigne, 27, and Marilyn Manson, 43, platonic friends for years, are suddenly romantic now that they’re both single,” Star enthuses.

An “insider” confirms this for the mag, saying the two have been spending increasingly more time together in Europe, which would explain why they haven't been photographed together back home in the US.

“Avril has been in Paris and Marilyn is on a European tour, so whenever he has a break, he files back to Paris to be with her,” the source dishes.

“They’ve been hooking up and then Skyping when they aren’t together. It’s not really serious yet, but they’ve definitely got a little love connection going on,” the insider further says.

Should this be really the case, if things heat up and become serious between the two, chances are we'll find out about it immediately because a pair as unlikely as Avril and Marilyn is bound to get plenty of attention from the paparazzi.
