14 DAY TRIAL // Avid, the company behind some of the world’s most popular multimedia tools, is deploying two new portable audio interfaces for composing and recording high-quality music.
Avid Fast Track Solo and Fast Track Duo both feature a robust industrial design and include Pro Tools Express for Mac and PC. The interfaces connect directly to Apple’s iPad, and provide supported iOS apps with high-quality I/O.
“Designed for musicians, students, and aspiring professionals, Fast Track Solo and Duo offer easy entry into the Pro Tools family,” says Avid.
The new offerings provide many of the same tools and features used in commercial recording studios, and include the ability to record up to 16 stereo audio tracks, while offering full MIDI editing.
Virtual instruments and effects are included so you can get up and running from day one, and session compatibility is ensured with Pro Tools and Pro Tools HD systems.
Fast Track Solo and Duo are available immediately through Avid resellers. Fast Track Solo goes for $179 USD (€137) and Fast Track Duo costs $299 USD (€229).
