The clip is the unusual retelling of the Bonnie & Clyde story

Following the success of the hit song “Wake Me Up,” the Swedish DJ Avicii has just released a video for his next single, “Addicted to You.”

Perfectly timed to drop on Valentine's Day, the video can be easily mistaken for a movie trailer, as it tells the story of a bank-robbing couple, similar to the famous gangsters Bonnie & Clyde. The only difference is that there's two Bonnies in this one and no Clyde.

The video matches perfectly the darker mood of the song, as the story turns into a love story between the two girls. They tour the country knocking banks over and living out their love until the police catch up with them.

The girls are played by Swedish actresses Madeleine Martin and Hedda Stiernstedt. The video was filmed last December, over the course of six days.

“Addicted to You” is the latest single from “True,” Avicii's album which came out last year in May. This particular track features the vocal talents of American folk singer Audra Mae.

I'll let you watch the ending for yourself.
