Obsidian was one of the big winners of the recent trend of Kickstarter funded games, managing to get more than 4 million dollars (3.6 million Euro) from fans for its Project Eternity.

Chris Avellone, one of the leader of the studio, says that he is ready to appeal to fans yet again as long as they have a clear vision for an interesting game.

He tells Eurogamer that, “we'd want to have a compelling concept for it, so that would probably be a discussion that we had.”

Obsidian is also ready to support other teams that are seeking funding, like they did with Torment: Tides of Numenera and Wasteland 2.

Obsidian wants to launch Project Eternity on the PC in 2014.

The game will offer a party-based, old-school role-playing game experience.
