One of the most popular mobile antivirus solutions for Android devices, Avast has just received a small update. The application has more than 50 million downloads on Google Play Store and offers Android users complete protection against malicious content.

We have already reported on the previous update, which brought in a few new features and lots of improvements and bug fixes, and now it looks like the application has received another update.

Unfortunately, developers have yet to issue an official changelog for the new version. Given the fact that there are no additional details on the changes included in this update, we must assume that it only brings some bug fixes and possibly some under the hood improvements.

You can now download Mobile Security & Antivirus for Android 3.0.7212 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
