The Fedora Unity Project is proud to announce the first Re-Spin DVDs for the Fedora 10 Linux distribution. The new Re-Spin ISOs are based on the official Fedora 10 (Sulphur) installation media, including all the updates released as of February 10th, 2009, and it's compatible with the i386, x86_64 and PPC architectures. However, the PPC edition of this Fedora 10 Re-Spin is untested and the Fedora Unity team wants you to give it a try and report any issues.

"The Fedora Unity Project is proud to announce the release of new ISO Re-Spins of Fedora 10. These Re-Spin ISOs are based on the officially released Fedora 10 installation media and include all updates released as of February 10th, 2009." - said Ben Williams, in the official release announcement.

The Fedora Unity Re-Spins are created to provide users with a fresh and up-to-date installation of the Fedora Linux distribution. It is a community project, for the Fedora community and by the Fedora community, therefore anyone can contribute to it. Fedora is an operating system based on the Linux kernel, and which focuses on wide access, distribution and free modification. It's built by a worldwide community (the Fedora Project), which grants access to anyone wishing to further advance the development of open-source software.

Fedora 10 was officially released on November 25th, 2008 and it introduced the new "Solar" theme and features such as GNOME 2.24, KDE 4.1 and LXDE desktop environments, faster boot experience (powered by Plymouth), better printing support, better webcam support, improved wireless network connection sharing, better software maintenance and update (powered by PackageKit and RPM 4.6), HDTV support, Apple Macintosh hardware support, virtualization storage support and a new security tool for IDS (Intrusion Detection System), called SecTool.
