Autobahn Racer: Police Madness for Mobile

Mobile phone game developer LivingMobile has announced the release of a new episode in their Autobahn Racer series early this year.
Although at first it seems like your average mobile phone game from the series, Autobahn Racer: Police Madness is somewhat different. I'm sure you've played a game with high-speed car chases before, but probably only from the racer's perspective.

In this case, you will no longer be the racer, but the cop that's chasing racers around, slowing them down and busting them in case they break speed limits. In Autobahn Racer: Police Madness, the player can choose between four different police cars and can even fly a chopper, in case the car proves not to be enough.

The game proves to be a worthy successor of Autobahn Racer: World Challenge and 3D Autobahn racer, also because - even if he switches sides and gets behind a cop's wheel - the player will still have the opportunity to tune the car with upgrades or choose between 16 different tracks.

According to Living Mobile, there are also four different game modes, including a story-based career mode. The mobile phone game was modeled after Davilex' London Racer: Police Madness for PC, just like in the case of the previous Autobahn series games that are also adapted for mobiles from PC games with the same name.

Basically, it should prove to be loads of fun just because you get to fly a chopper as well as arrest someone. The game may be renamed London Racer: Police Madness on the UK market and its release date was scheduled for early 2007.
