AutoDesk came up with a new version for their 2D and 3D computer-aided design tool, AutoCAD. Available for both Windows and Mac, AutoCAD 2013 brings to the table a new set of features.

The latest release improves access to tools for creating Section and Details views, through a new model documentation tab.

Cloud services have been integrated, allowing file synchronization through Autodesk Cloud. It allows synchronization of drawings and folders with an online account straight from AutoCAD. Social media component is also present in this version, as you can share designs using built-in connections for Facebook and Twitter.

PressPull tool has been enhanced to be context sensitive and more flexible. Thus, it can be used to extrude and offset curves, creating surfaces and solids. A new instrument is Surface Curve Extraction, which extracts contour lines through a specified point on a surface or face of a solid.
