Automatically increments apps on your device so the updates don’t pile up

Auto App Updater is one of those solutions that gives jailbreaking a good rep. While some users do jailbreak just to pirate software, others hack their iDevices to get more functionality out of them. This is a perfect example of the second scenario.

As its name implies, Auto App Updater is a jailbreak tweak that eliminates the hassle of having to go through that pile of apps that need updating and select which ones you want to increment.

Sure, you can hit the “update all” button in the App Store, but that still requires you to actually navigate to the App Store on your iOS device. Plus, when the list gets too large (i.e. over 20 apps that need updating), the process can be interrupted when your device goes to sleep.

Auto App Updater takes care of that by automatically updating all apps on your device, at any time their respective developers have pushed out something new.

It has an Enable toggle, a very useful “Update on WiFi only” option, and even an app list to select which titles you want to have automatically updated and which you don’t.

The tweak sells for $2.99 / €2.33 on Cydia via the Modmyi reposotory.
