A total of 7 domains of Mercedes-Benz Austria have been hacked and defaced by the members of the Turkish Ajan collective.

The list of affected domains includes mercedes.at, lessiak.mercedes-benz.at, mercedes-benz.at, schulung.mercedes-benz.at, kroepfl.mercedes-benz.at and dialog.mercedes-benz.at.

The pages have been defaced by Turkish Ajan as a form of protest against Israel.

Currently, all the impacted Mercedes-Benz websites have been restored.

This is not the first time when car manufacturers are targeted by the Turkish hacker group. A few months ago, they targeted the Bulgarian and Argentinian websites of Renault.

Other major websites targeted by the group have been the ones of Toshiba Turkey, McDonald’s South Korea, Casio China, and Nokia Taiwan. In most cases, the hackers have also leaked information from the attacked organizations’ databases.

In the case of Mercedes-Benz, they don’t appear to have leaked any data.
