A store in Australia is making all retailers' dreams come true by charging customers who claim that they are "just looking" at the merchandise and haven't made up their minds yet.

The Consumerist reports that looking around without buying anything costs $5 (€3.9) in the Brisbane specialty food store.

The facility, which sells gluten- and dairy-free products among others, will be deducting the sum from paying customers' checkout bills.

In a note that alerts those walking in on their policy, they motivate their decision by citing that some clients scan for smaller prices and end up shopping in different stores.

"There has been high volume of people who use this store as a reference and then purchase goods elsewhere. These people are unaware our prices are almost the same as the other stores plus we have products simply not available anywhere else," it reads.
