Australia Gets ASUS Eee Pad Slider Android 4 ICS Update

Famous Taiwanese motherboard manufacturer Asustek has started rolling out the update to Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich for the Asus Eee Pad Slider tablets that are sold in Australia.

The update will simply arrive over-the-air, and as such, you’ll be able to install it directly on your original tablet device. The Slider will display the software version number 9.2.1.21 and you’ll be able to enjoy all the improvements Google's sandwich brings.

Some of the updated features are:

User interface finishing touches

Modified font sizes

Notifications and tasks can be closed with a swipe

Users can create folders in the Home Screen

Camera can be launched from the lock screen

Additional screen capture method

New browser functions

New camera effects and photo editing options

Users should also make sure that they have a good WiFi connection and that the device's battery is completely charged.
