Until a few days ago, Audrina Patridge was the quiet girl from "The Hills", nothing more than a shadow on the ever-changing radar of MTV's flagship reality series. She was Heidi and Lauren's first friend when the two arrived in Los Angeles, and they lived in the same apartment building complex for a while. Audrina was always the quiet one, who never got herself into as much drama as Lauren or Heidi - until a few days ago, when it emerged that, like most of the screen sirens that populate the magical world of reality TV these days, she's a lady with a past and some hot naked photos to go along which just happened to get released. And now, Audrina is capitalizing on her 15 minutes of fame and promoting her newly-found over-sexualized image by hosting the Pussycat Dolls show at Pure Nightclub, in Las Vegas.
The brunette beauty showed up on stage dressed in true Pussycat fashion, sporting fishnets leather and lace, as well as a dress which sported the words "Pussycat Dolls" in sparkling pink gems. Patridge changed two costumes in less than half an hour, introduced the Dolls before the show and told the crowd of her excitement to be there. "I'm so honored to be here tonight, I'm a huge fan of all the Pussycat Dolls." She also thanked the Dolls after they performed their burlesque dance and promised to return to the club. "This is first time I've seen them perform and I love it," she added. Patridge also showed she possesses yet another skill fit for a true pussycat - the uncanny ability to dodge paparazzi and avoid any direct questions concerning the naked pictures scandal.
We all know the best scandals are those which always seem to simmer just below the surface, but are never referred to directly. It takes skill and determination to always remind people that they once saw you naked and enjoyed it - but not be too obvious at the same time. Patridge explained that the photos in question were taken when she was very young and was hoping to make it as a Playboy model - but were, of course, seized by infamous bad guys who decided to use them and thus boost her career. "I took these photos years ago when I was just out of high school and beginning to model. I was young and very trusting of others and I didn't know to protect myself," she claimed at the time when the photos were made public.
