Surround sound from a laptop?
The majority of music lovers who use notebooks, buy sooner or later an external sound solution which is able to provide the high fidelity they desire so much. It's obvious that a mobile system, not even the most advanced multimedia models, doesn't have a sound solution that completely satisfies the passionate audiophile. But there is a gadget that once connected to the USB port of the mobile system will produce a sound whose quality will be envied
even by the Hi-Fi or Home Cinema systems.
Audio Advantage Micro looks like a little toy until it is plugged into the USB port; you'll discover the sound you have missed since you have your notebook. Actually, that is the mobile systems' sole deficiency: the LCDs have similar qualities to the CRTs and the 17 inch dimension has been implemented by the majority of producers at least for a few top-of-the-line systems.
The mobile systems have comparable computing capacity, the keyboards and touchpads have greatly evolved and now offer the same comfort as classic keyboards.
The only aspect that decreased the notebooks' score was the quality of the provided sound. But with the appearance of Audio Advantage Micro, a 29.95 USD gadget, this problem is also solved. You have to test the quality of the sound produced by this device to believe it.
The installation procedure is very simple: after installing the software, all you have to do is to connect the device (with the size of a flash drive) to a USB port and plug in the headsets. A pair of regular stereo headsets will produce now a multi-speaker, surround sound due to this gadget. The equalizer includes eight preset modes: rock, country, classic, jazz, bass boost, mid boost, high boost and flat.
