This year's Paris Motor Show witnessed Audi's unveiling of a new plug-in hybrid concept car.

Spokespersons for Audi explained that this particular concept vehicle was intended to offer a glimpse into the future of the automotive industry, both in terms of design and as far as driving experience were concerned.

However, what we wish to emphasize is the fact that, according to company representatives, the crosslane coupé plug-in hybrid would only burn about 1.1 liters of fuel in order to cover as much as 100 kilometers, and that its CO2 emissions will revolve around 26 grams per kilometer.

We are no experts when it comes to automotive, but this sounds to us like good news indeed.

More information concerning this concept car can be found on the Green Car Congress website.
