An iPhone case with a built-in perfume or hand sanitizer wants your help on Kickstarter

We've seen bullet-proof iPhone cases, slim ones, and cases that help keep your iPhone alive for a few days. Now it's time for that case to be really useful. With Atomyzer, you can turn your iPhone case into a full-fledged spray to keep you smelling good. If it meets its goal on Kickstarter.

The developers of Atomyzer believe this is the first case of its kind and we have to adhere to that. No one has used an iPhone case as a spray. It may look bulky, but it is really useful, so the user can forget about the size. Best thing about it? You can fill that spray bottle with pepper spray, hand sanitizer, fragrance, or breath mint.

The developers had one thing in mind: it needs to be handy and still look like an iPhone case. There are a few rewards for the Kickstarter project backers. For $25 (€18.61) you can get the Early Bird Atomyzer special with the case in your choice of color.

This will hit retail stores with a price tag of $35 (€26) or more, so be sure to get yours cheaper. For $90 (€67) you can get a 3-pack, so you can just use the one you need for the day with your iPhone without changing the cartridge.

The developers of this project want you to be sure you can change the fragrance or sanitizer when you need it, so they have created a unique 3D printed cartridge. It fills within seconds and stores up to 60 sprays.

There is also a locking mechanism so you don't get all that pepper spray in your pocket. The interchangeable custom back plates will give your iPhone a pleasant look.

The Atomyzer has only four days to go on Kickstarter and the funding goal seems pretty far away. But if you like it and you get your friends to back it up, you will be able to get your own spray in October 2014. The developer makes the case of the Atomyzer not being the bulkiest case around.

The case supports iPhone 5 and 5s models, but they promise they will release it for other smartphones on the market. There are also a few Stretch Goals. If they raise more than $5000 (€3717.61) , the developer is ready to make more colors. Current colors are white and black cases with pink, gray, or blue snaps on the back. For $8000 (€5948.18), anyone can get the Pepper Spray Atomyzer.
