Development is finnaly complete In the neo-apocalyptic action adventure game Bullet Witch as far as Atari is concerned. Published in partnership with Japanese publisher AQ Interactive, Bullet Witch is due to ship to stores in North America on February 27th for the Xbox 360 and will be available at around $49.99.

The game was developed by Cavia who have set the time and place on a bleak planet earth in the year 2013 with human kind on the brink of extinction and hideous creatures that have no other goal than destroying everything in their way. Of course all is not lost as hope for the planet Earth and the human kind lies in Alicia, a beautiful witch blessed with magical skills and a fast temper.

Players take control of Alicia in her heroic quest to prevent the decimation of mankind through her fearsome weaponry and spectacular powers with which she can manipulate natural phenomena in her environment. Alicia's gun rod is not an ordinary one, it has the ability to transform into whatever kind of gun the player desires and can also be used for casting spells.

Jeremiah Cohn, Product Manager, Atari said: "Bullet Witch flaunts exactly what next-generation gaming is all about with more destructible environments and stunning visual effects, coupled with a captivating storyline. Cavia has made a slew of enhancements in both the European and US versions to deliver an extremely exciting game."

You could say that Bullet Witch is a great combination between American horror and Japanese fantasy. Combining shooting and magic, Bullet Witch will take full advantage of Xbox 360's advanced physics engine on February 27th.
