After the red version of the Blackberry Pearl

US carrier At&t is getting a brand new set of colorful handsets for its more color-friendly customers. After it became known that it will be getting a red Blackberry Pearl, now they are also offering a red version of the Palm Treo 680.

Both colorful phones are now available exclusively to At&t customers, with the Treo initially selling only at select outlets, while customers can find the Pearl in all stores nationwide.

"The new, red BlackBerry Pearl and crimson Palm Treo 680 are the next 'gotta have it' wireless handsets from AT&T," said Michael Woodward, executive director, mobile professional solutions, for AT&T. "The additional choices of color offer panache and style, and these world-class products boast all of the features that made the original versions very popular among AT&T customers."

Leaving their new color aside, the Blackberry Pearl and Treo 680 are handsets that came to be very popular among customers. The Pearl, a sleek and stylish handset that is packed with several nice features including a 1.3 megapixel camera and a memory card slot has recently been presented here.

The new, crimson Palm Treo 680 is also a nice device, coming with an MP3 player, built-in camera with video recording capabilities, QWERTY keyboard, for easier and more convenient texting and document editing, easy access to email, including several platforms like Good Mobile Messaging or Cingular Express Mail, IM and compatibility with the TeleNav GPS Navigator that is optional in the case that the customer also wants GPS capabilities. Both mobile phones are quad-band and can be used in over 13, 000 cities and towns across the US, as well as in over 190 countries worldwide.
