What more can you do with a successful product, that needs no fixing or refurbishing? The answer is simple: improve it. The guys at Asustek surely know how to deal with the business: following in the footsteps
of another successful business, the iPod, the Taiwanese notebook manufacturer decided to release a new line of accessories to go with the already beloved Eee PC sub-notebook.

Asustek on Monday tipped the users about a new Eee PC family member to feature WiMax connectivity as well as a larger, 8.9-inch LCD display. It is announced for the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show and there are no other details about it. Until then, one thing is sure. The new accessories set from Asustek will add a plus of personality and functionality to the small notebook.

Rainbow 1000 DPI optical mice

The accessories set include color-coded compact mice, earphones, power adapters and battery extensions. The Eee mice are compact and feature high resolution optical sensors to come in pink, blue, green, white, and black. Featuring an optical resolution of 1000 DPI with a 70-centimeter cable, the Eee mice can work on both Linux Eee and Windows (XP or Vista). The small dimensions (W 50 x L 90 x H33 mm) make them the perfect portable input solution.

Spare batteries for increased autonomy

The extra batteries are useful for extended usage in areas where using power adapters is not possible, such as trips in the open or while in a car. The spare batteries come in two flavors: the 4-cell set can deliver 5200mAh, while the 6-cell pack can provide 7800mAh.

Comfortable headphones

The Eee headphones come with a supplementary noise-isolation layer for improved acoustic clarity. The cable is 1.15 meters long and allow extended movement. The headset comes with 3 sizes of earbud gel tips for the most comfortable fit.

Last, but not least, the travel adapters are a handy solution for using in different countries with various power code specifications. The adapters can tolerate a power input between 100 and 240 V for a stable output of 9.5 Volts at 2.5 Amperes.
