Asus Transformer Tablet Goes on Sale for €199 ($262 US)

The deal, as Notebook Italia informs us, is available from the Mediaworld chain of retail stores and will start on December 15, with only 1,000 units available.

The discounted Transformer is actually the 16GB version with Wi-Fi connectivity, which usually sells for 399 EUR.

However, if the Asus Transformer is not your cup of tea, the Italian retail chain also has 1,500 units of the WiFi-only Galaxy Tab 10.1 available for 399 EUR, which is roughly the equivalent of $526 US.
