US Android fans might get the Transformer Prime in time for Christmas, but those of us living in Europe will have to wait until January to get our hands on Asus’ tablet.

This includes the UK, which has just officially joined the listed on countries that will get the Prime in 2012.

As SlashGear has unveiled, initially only the 32GB version of the tablet bundled together with the keyboard dock will be available, with the rest of the configurations coming later in 2012.

Pricing for this model is set at £449 and pre-orders have already started a few days ago, Clove being the first retailer in the UK to add Asus’ latest creation to its product base.

The good news however is that by January Asus will get its Android 4.0, aka Ice Cream Sandwich, port working, so the European Transformer Prime will come with ICS preinstalled.
