The never-ending saga surrounding Asus’ Transformer Prime availability just received another chapter as it now appears that the tablet will be available in Canada two days sooner than everybody thought before.

In Canada, the Prime was originally expected to become available on December 5, but then the date was changed to December 22, and now we see BestBuy saying this will actually come out on Dec 20.

Despite the good news, BestBuy still doesn’t have the tablet available for pre-order online, is listed as Sold Out, but we have reasons to believe that a limited stock is kept for when the tablet will make its retail appearance.

According to Mobile Syrup, the Transformer Prime also appears to be sold out at Future Shop and Staples.

Pricing for the 32GB version of the Transformer Prime in Canada seems to be set at $499.99 CAD which equals $491 US or 366 EUR.
