14 DAY TRIAL // Asus’ Transformer Prime certainly received quite a lot of media coverage since its initial announcement back in October, but few things have since then been said about its keyboard dock, the one thing that actually make this tablet unique when compared to other similar Android devices.
Wanting to right this wrong, Asus has now published a page on its Website dedicated to this dock, which describes in great detail its features and specifications.
According to this page, the Prime keyboard dock is about the same size as that of a 10-inch Eee PC and apart from the built in battery that provides an additional 6 hours of juice to the tablet also includes an SD card reader and an USB 2.0 port.
The dock will become available in both Amethyst Gray and Champagne Gold to fit the color of your Prime and is available for-preorder from Best Buy and Amazon for $150. In Europe this will cost 150 EUR.
