Asus’s Transformer Prime is one particularly hard to track down tablet, but Amazon seems to have a few of these slates on its website for sale.
Just 20 units are available at this time in two different listings, one at
$618.99 and one at
$669.99 (478 and 540 EUR), both however featuring 32GB of storage space and coming in either Amethyst Gray or Champagne Gold.
As I am sure you noticed, the prices are a great deal higher than Asus recommended $499 (385 EUR), but I don’t think that anyone can blame retailers from trying to take advantage of the Prime’s popularity (and Asus’ shipments shortages).
If paying a whole Benjamin more than the MSRP doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, you can also wait for January 2012 to arrive when Asus said
Transformer Prime stocks will reach normal levels.
