A few days ago we brought you news that Asus had unleashed the new Asus Transformer Pad TF701T convertible to the home-based Taiwanese market.

Now the company has made a more general announcement to include other markets and has set the date for October 21, AndroidCentral reports.

The slate enjoys a Full HD 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600. Asus has added an Nvidia Tegra 4 quad-core processor to power its inside.

As in the past, this Transformer Pad model can ship with the optional Mobile Dock, making it possible for users to quickly switch between laptop mode and tablet mode. Asus has added advanced speaker technology plus Asus’s SonicMaster audio to offer the best media experience possible.

The dock comes embedded with a battery that will add a nifty 13-17 hours of overall performance life.

So far only the price for UK has been announced and customers can purchase the new Transformer Pad for £429.99 / $686.65 / €508.14 a pop. Prices across other territories will probably be disclosed soon.
