Asus Computer Inc., most known for making motherboards and graphic cards, has announced the release of its new cell phone - V66.

The new model's design targets young people, because of its stylish look. The most interesting feature of the V66 is its MV Director Software, which allows users to combine photos, recorded video clips, and music to create their very own signature music video.

The new V66 is a GSM tri-band phone that comes with a built-in high resolution 0.3 MP CMOS digital camera (4x digital zoom) and a 1.8 inch 262K color screen. In addition, the handset features FM tuner, media player that can play MP3 files and MPEG-4 videos. Unfortunately, the connectivity to a PC is made through a very slow USB 1.1 port. It has WAP 1.2.1 and WAP 2.0 technology and 32MB internal memory with expansion possibility through a miniSD slot card.

The new Asus V66 is available in three colors: orange, blue, and silver. There is no word about the pricing yet.
