Info has leaked in the case of Asus' soon-to-be-released new netbook, codnamed R051BX. While seemingly intended for business purposes, it looks like the Eee R051BX will sell nice.

Despite the official release date being still unknown, the R051BX is expected to soon hit the shelves. We've already prepared drivers for it, so your back's covered right from the beginning.

Asus have chosen the AMD C-60 APU as the heart of the new netbook, and this may be another sign that the decline of Intel's Atom CPUs is advancing. The 1 Ghz unit sports a DirectX 11-compliant HD 6290 graphics card; nice to see such a card featured in a small unit like the R051BX, even if the Eee is a gaming tool.

The standard memory is 1GB DDR: hopefully, users can cram at least another GB in there. No USB 3.0 might be a serious setback for the intended customer range, since business people would surely appreciate a faster USB connection for their files.

As for the rest, the expected card reader, LAN and WLAN connections and a nice HDMI out port make the Asus R051BX an interesting tool, especially as the price tag runs around $320. You can download the drivers for Asus Eee R051BX from Softpedia as of now, nevertheless.
