Asus O!Play TV Pro Is More than a Media Player

At first glance, the O!Play TV Pro might look like your ordinary media player, but don’t be too quick to judge as this new O!Play has a few tricks up its sleeves, which are definitely worthy of your attention.

What does that mean, you ask? Well, when building the O!Play TV Pro, Asus has decided to give it not just the usual video playback capabilities of such devices, but also a built-in DVB-T digital tuner.

Thanks to this, and the inclusion of an internal 3.5-inch hard drive (not supplied), this contraption can now also record TV programming or time shift, so you can pause and resume digital broadcasts to your liking.

Media compatibility also remains high, with over 50 major multimedia standards supported, including 3D content.

An USB 3.0 port, a memory card reader and Gigabit Ethernet round up the specs list, but sadly Asus hasn’t sent any prices our way.
