Yes is great when it works.
I have spend hours and hours to install Power Cinema without success.
I don't understand how Cyberlink have this kind of magic.
The installation steps showed in the user manual haven't much to do with what i see in the real installation.
So, i spend about $60 and now i have to take it away.
My emails to Cyberlink and also to Asus, haven't any success.
Congratulations to Asus and Cyberlink, i will not buy anything else from them. The same with people i know, because i inform them about thsi and other bad products.

Card works great. Nice picture, good sound. However, PowerCinema 5, the bundled software, is, politely put, a LEMON.

Hm... I have tried and successfully installed Power Cinema 4 and Power Cinema 6 (which is a bit lamer that the version 4, I think) and they all worked beautifully - with Windows XP.

However, I've encountered several problems on my 32-bit Windows 7 Professional. I can install Power Cinema and it works OK but the remote doesn't work - no even a single button :((

Can somebody please help me and e-mail me a software or sth. (email- guzelino @ gmail.com) so I could get the remote to work.

P.S. if anyone wants the software I suggest you google for a torrent with Power Cinema or e-mail me.

Take care and thanks in advance.

Well I have purchased ASUS Cinema-P7131 and installed all the relavent software but it doesn't work properly. ASUS or Philips Co. should stop to make more these products.

I have lost my money. It tune only 3 channel of TV from cable out of 100. I will advised those whoem are reading my e-mail "NOT TO PURCHASE" this card.

Thanks

ASUS My Cinema-P7131 is horrible. In my case remote isn't working, tv image and video from VHS cassetes is unclean.. But most irritating is the software PowerCinema; I can not set my dvd's to be autoplayed by another program like Media Player Classic because every thime i insert dvd in the pc PowerCinema opens and if i quit the process the program just crashes with a blue screen and restarts the computer. Also No support from Asus and Cyberlink! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CARD!!!

I run this t card on 64bit windows 7 ultimate, Intel Dual Core QuadQ9400 2.66Ghz 4Gb Ram and a geforce 9800 but after i Instal the tv card it crushes ...shows blue screen andd restarts computer this is annoying knowing that ASUS don't respond users technical problems. I have the same card at work and it's running smoothly on 32 bit windows xp...Is this problem only with 64 bit CPUs or is it something else or is it just a crappy card?

Sorry for my previous post.

I have found a solution, at least for Windows 7 32-bit. I have the Power Cinema 4 (it came when I purchased the TV card) - installed it and works fine.

With a little google searching I found a software for the remote (surprisingly, it is from ASUS), here's the link:

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?modelname=My Cinema 7131&SLanguage=en-us

it installs OK and works great.

Hope this was helpful.

Take care.
