A piece of news for all those Asus fans out there looking for the latest video drivers: the Nvidia display drivers version 295.18, created for mobile devices.

The biggest difference from the 290.36 version consists in a new antialiasing method called FXAA. The new method has obtained better overall scores than the 4xAA used in 290.36. According to laptopvideo2go.com, the new drivers returned the following results with Heaven Benchmark 2.5:

- Overall score: 2620 for 295.18 versus 2286 for 290.36 - MinFPS: 62.1 for 295.18 versus 47.7 for 290.36 - AvgFPS: 104.0 for 295.18 versus 90.8 for 290.36 - MaxFPS: 197.6 for 295.18 versus 184.3 for 290.36

Heaven was set up to 16x Anisotropic with Ambient Occlusion off, while the NVidia control panel had the Texture Filtering Quality set to high, and the Vsync off. This display driver only supports the 64-bit Windows Vista and 7, with little prospects for XP.

Since they've been repacked by laptopvideo2go.com we can't offer you any guarantee and you'll install them at your own risk. Here is the link: Nvidia Display Driver 295.18 for Asus Mobile, 132 MB.
