Asus’s MeMo Pad HD 7 has finally made it to New Zealand. Customers in this part of the world can grab theirs for the price of NZD $279 / $231 / €171 from third-party distributors like Ingram Micro and Synnex, GeekZone reports.

The slate was introduced by Regional Head of ASUS System Business Group, Vivian Hung.

“With a compact 7-inch form factor that fits easily in the hands, the MeMo Pad HD 7 is a great value tablet for life on the go. The choice of five vivid colors and glossy casing make the MeMo Pad HD 7 one of the most stylish tablets on the market.”

With its smallish form factor, the MeMo Pad HD 7 can be easily held in one hand. It comes featuring an IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Under the hood, there’s a quad-core processor powering everything.

Thanks to Asus’s Sonic Master audio technology, users can enjoy an improved audio experience, so the MeMo Pad is optimized for all kinds of multimedia streaming.

Its lithium polymer battery can provide 10 hours of battery life. The slate can ship with an optional TransCover, which can neatly fold in a prop for the tablet to rest on when users want to watch a video or type something.
