Nokia E90 crumbles with fear

Asus is about to bring out a new smartphone that should make direct challenge to Nokia's Communicator line of handsets. Asus M930 Communicator is highly similar to the device brought out by the Finnish producer but might come with more power and higher potential for success.

Asus M930 Communicator runs on a Marvel PXA27x 520 MHz chip, one of the highest ones found among mobile phones. There will also be packed 256MB of Flash ROM and 180MB of RAM, which sounds like just about all the needed resources to run any applications and use the handset both for work and personal needs just as good.

The smartphone works on Windows Mobile 6 operating system and will be available in GSM networks. Not only does this device handle GPRS, EDGE and UMTS data transfers, but it also features HSDPA. This means that downloads can go as high as 3.6 Mbps and bring media content on the owner's device in just a few seconds.

Asus M930 Communicator will also pack a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, for taking captures at a quality above average. The user can then put these picture shots on the personal blog or email them to friends. There is also an FM tuner for entertainment, although the device should also come equipped with a large data storage space. Connectivity is also available through Bluetooth and WiFi.

From what it looks like, Asus M930 Communicator will be a tough competitor for Nokia's E90 device. The Finnish company failed to get all the success that it expected with its latest E90 Communicator device. The main reason for this seems to have been the large sizes of the phone and a huge price to match. In return, the customer received a high tech stone for his pocket and not always the expected satisfaction.
