You might say that digital photo frames have already become mainstream and they've gone beyond the level of cool novelty. You're probably right, but the fact of the matter is that we still see some pretty interesting and innovative releases in this field, much like the UFOTO UF735 Digital Photo Frame from Asus, which, besides displaying your favorite digital photos, also doubles as a secondary display for your PC or notebook.

Although the display itself isn't particularly impressive (7-inch diagonal, 800x480 pixel resolutions), the digital photo frame from Asus does bring along several very interesting features, as for example the exquisite metal frame, lighting effects, symmetrical and intuitive control buttons that are easy to use for functional settings. Additionally, the device offers an intelligent color enhancement system, dubbed foto-in-motion technology, which allows users to select from 5 different modes in order to showcase various photo display effects.

Moreover, the UFOTO UF735 allows users to transfer data into its memory via memory cards, USB flash or syncing with the computer. And since we're on the subject, it's also quite important to mention the fact that the main selling point of the photo frame is actually the "sub-display" function, a feature that permits users to employ it as a secondary display.

Practically, all updates like messenger windows, gadget information, picture viewer etc. will be sent directly to the UFOTO UF735 instead of the main computer display, which will reduce the desktop clutter. Additionally, the device also provides three modes of capturing screen information and a convenient calendar and alarm.

Other very innovative features provided by the device from Asus include the reminiscence function, which allows users to search photos easily in the UFOTO UF735 according to a specific date, as well the built-in auto-rotation sensor (which enables photo display for landscape or portrait positions) and the AI Light sensor, which adjusts the LCD backlight to achieve an optimum ambience brightness.

Unfortunately, Asus doesn't provide any pricing or availability-related information, but we're really quite curious regarding the final selling price, given the very interesting features this thing can provide.
