14 DAY TRIAL // Sadly for Ashton, he had to pay a not-so-enjoyable visit to the vet on Friday, in order to put his sick bulldog to sleep. The “Two and a Half Men” actor was spotted heading into an animal hospital in LA holding his sick pooch wrapped in a blanket.
The 35-year-old actor looked devastated as he was carrying his dog to the animal hospital, and not even Mila's presence by his side could take away the pain of losing his canine companion. Wrapped in a blanket, the bulldog was looking weak as he sat still in Ashton's arms.
No doubt this is a painful situation for every animal lover, and especially for Ashton, who is known for having sheltered canine companions over the years. Both Ashton and Mila are big animal lovers, and the couple rescued another dog together last year.
Ashton and his ex-wife Demi Moore also had a dog, a cute Chihuahua called Bama. Kutcher and Moore split up in 2011 and have been disagreeing upon their settlement money for a while. Recently, the former couple has been said to have reached an agreement, and the divorce is on the verge of being finalized.
Besides rescuing and sheltering animals, the Kutcher - Kunis couple is preparing to get married once Ashton's divorce from Demi Moore is over. The two are patiently waiting for Ashton's official divorce so that they can get married and start their own family.
Mila and Ashton are big fans of royal weddings and plan on getting married at Kensington Palace in London, a source told the Daily Star newspaper. “They both adored Kate and William's wedding and wanted to do something similar for themselves. They don't want a big flashy wedding but they liked the idea of marrying somewhere historic like a castle.”
