The Twitter TV frenzy hasn't stopped even after Biz Stone clarified the rumors. It now looks like Ashton Kutcher, Twitter's most popular user, with almost 2 million followers, isn't very happy with the TV show and may take 'drastic' measures like stop tweeting. It all seems like a bit of a misunderstanding but the actor isn't happy, tweeting “It’s all fun and games until somebody gets stalked.”

The Twitter TV show made the news on Monday but Twitter's co-founder Biz Stone stepped in and dismissed the idea of there being an official show, saying that there were a number of shows that used the service as part of their program but that they didn't have any affiliation with it. The show that started the whole thing, currently in pre-production at the Reveille and Brillstein production company, is about “ordinary people on the trail of celebrities in a revolutionary competitive format.” Details are scarce and we can see how it can get people worried about the format.

And that's exactly what happened here as Kutcher tweeted “Wow I hope this isn’t true. I really don’t like being sold out. May have to take a twitter hiatus.” So, while it’s possible that the clarification hasn't reached him or this is just another way for celebrities to stay in the news, it could also very well be a lot of fuss for nothing, as Kutcher hasn't stopped tweeting yet and hasn't made any other references to the show.

And if the initial announcement wasn't enough, Biz Stone posted another response on his blog insisting that Twitter had nothing to do with the show: “Just to be clear, Twitter is not making a television show. Some Hollywood folks are developing something that leverages Twitter and they are extremely enthusiastic as evidenced by all the media hubbub yesterday and today. We have little to do with their efforts but we wish them success.”
