A new GoogleBomb entered the search engine

GoogleBomb is a sort of search engine spam that can influence the search engine to display different results than the ones specific to the keyword entered by the user. How can you bomb Google? Well, anyone is able to bomb Google, but I hope you won't do that. A bomb is often a website that is sent to Google, with a specific keyword that owns a huge number of backlinks that will increase the position of the webpage in Google's index.

There are a lot of GoogleBombs available at the moment, but the company is working hard to eliminate all of them because they are pulling down the image of the search engine.

The latest GoogleBomb is related to political facts giving you another point of view (or not?) on George W. Bush. If you want to test it, you should visit the Google official webpage, enter "a**hole" and press Search. You'll be redirected to a website containing a clip that is criticizing Bush and its attitude over important aspects of USA.

"Is this a googlebomb (and if so, is it new)? Try entering "a**hole" into Google.com and click the "I'm feeling lucky" button - you'll end up on a movie clip criticizing George W. Bush (well, this may differ depending on your location or the datacenter you hit - I'm ending up here). There already are emails circulating which, once again, make it look as if it's Google Inc speaking out politically here, but a googlebomb is just lots of people getting together to link to a certain page with a certain defined keyword," Phillipp Lenssen from Google Blogoscoped said on his blog.

Because a GoogleBomb can be done easily, the search giant is trying hardly to block this spam so, if you want to help the company in its attempt, you should report any issue to Google.
