Microsoft is apparently planning to launch two Assassin's Creed Unity Xbox One bundles next month, spotted on some European retailer store fronts.

The bundles were spotted by VGLeaks, both listed by Austrian retailer Gameware. One of the listings is still up, but it's missing the accompanying image and details pertaining to the offer.

The first of the two bundles will reportedly consist of a black Xbox One console with a 500 GB hard drive and one controller, and copies of both Assassin's Creed Unity and last year's hit, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, with a price tag of €410 / £325 / $519.

The second bundle is the same, with the addition of a Kinect sensor, going for €510 / £404 / $645. The two bundles will most likely become available next month, when Assassin's Creed Unity is released.

A strong push from Microsoft

For the time being, Microsoft has not made any official announcements regarding the two bundles, but they're likely to be legitimate, considering the efforts the software and hardware giant has been making of late.

The company is currently attempting to push sales of the hardware platform at a loss, bundling it together with free games in a move aimed at gamers' wallets rather than their hearts and minds.

In the case of the Madden NFL 15 Xbox One bundle, it seemed to have worked wonders, with an industry analyst opining that Microsoft's console could manage to surpass its direct competitor, Sony's PlayStation 4, for the second time since the two systems' release in November, 2013.

The company is also not keen on falling behind in the variety department, with the first commercially available Xbox One devices slated for release at the end of the month, part of a bundle including Insomniac Games' Sunset Overdrive, mirroring the Glacier White PS4 bundled together with Bungie's Destiny.

Free Assassin's Creed Unity is a good reason to buy an Xbox One

Ubisoft's upcoming action-adventure video game is one of the most highly anticipated titles of the moment, and Microsoft knows that a bundle would offer undecided gamers a pretty strong incentive to choose its hardware platform.

The game will be the first in the series to enable friends to tackle the campaign missions together, and will feature an unparallelled level of freedom when it comes to how to navigate the map and solve objectives.

Ubisoft has also recreated an almost-to-scale replica of Paris during the time of the French Revolution, and made the game world more vivid than ever, making the entire experience more immersive than in past titles.

Assassin's Creed Unity is scheduled for release on November 11 in North America and November 13 in Europe and other PAL territories, headed for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.
