The development team at Ubisoft working on Assassin's Creed Unity is delivering a new video from Gamescom 2014, which is designed to show off 11 minutes of uncut gameplay that emphasizes the open world structure of the game and its core features.

The footage is narrated by creative director Alex Amancio and follows the main character as he starts and executes a single player assassination mission, revealing how the new parkour system can be used to move around the city, how better stealth can be employed to get close to the target and how the killing blow is delivered.

Ubisoft states, "Assassin’s Creed Unity is the next-gen evolution of the blockbuster franchise powered by an all new engine. From the storming of the Bastille to the execution of King Louis XVI, experience Paris during the French Revolution as never before – and help the people of France carve an entirely new destiny."

Assassin's Creed Unity will be launched on the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the PC and will be released on October 28 of this year.

An Assassin's Creed Rogue will offer a different story and will be available only on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 on November 11.
