More details regarding the upcoming action adventure video game Assassin’s Creed Unity have surfaced on the Internet, from one of the game’s testers.

Reddit user AlphaNumeralBeta, an Assassin’s Creed Unity tester, posted a screenshot showing other playable assassins in Ubisoft’s upcoming game.

The image comes from the game’s level selection screen, and the tester claims that each of the levels will take players to a new location, featuring an entirely new assassin.

“This is wholly Unity, currently undergoing testing on Xbox One. As of this build this is how the game is arranged. Two missions with Arno, the rest with various assassins in different time periods,” the tester says.

For the time being, there is no news on whether the tester’s claims are true, and no official word from Ubisoft, clearing whether this is a yet undisclosed feature or simply placeholder content for the test build.

The tester was asked whether the side missions have been improved since earlier installments in the series, when you simply climbed the tallest building in an area and discovered a bunch of missions that proved quite similar to each other.

"So far the ones we have access to are pretty limited. But one sticks out. You are teleported to a sealed off area that is on the cusp of deteriorating(based on the level you chose). Your goal to is collect data on the map to find the location of a trapped assassin on the map."

"Data comes in three varieties. Static worth 10 points. Dynamic(read moving around the map) for 20 points, and encrypted(you have to stand year for a few seconds for it to be picked up) for 50 points," the tester answered.

"After collecting 300 the Assassin's location is revealed. You are then provided a secondary goal of collecting 1000 which then rewards you bonus money etc. The caveat: you are bound by a time limit. Once the time limit runs out the barriers of the level start shrinking. If the barrier hits you you are erased and you die. You have to reach the exit before being erased," he concluded.

For the time being, you would do well to take this news with a decently sized lump of salt. The videos that the tester promised haven’t materialized, and the account was deleted, so there is no further information, apart from what was already revealed in the thread.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is currently scheduled to come out on October 28, headed to the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
