The overall game experience should be much better

The development team at Ubisoft in charge of Assassin's Creed Unity announces that the fourth full patch for the title is now launched on the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony and should be soon rolling out on the Xbox One, before the end of the day.

The studio is introducing a range of changes which are designed to improve the overall game experience and fix most of the problems that gamers have been reporting since the game was launched.

Those who download the fourth patch for Assassin's Creed Unity need to get ready to spend some time away from the game because the package is 6.7 GB big and the update process might take some time.

The PC version of the game will get the same update later during the week, although a clear date has not been specified by Ubisoft.

Gamers can take a look at all the changes made to Assassin's Creed Unity by clicking on the button at the end of this article.

The forum post explains that a number of missions, for the single player, the side content and the cooperative modes of the title, have been tweaked and a number of crashes have been eliminated.

NPC problems are no longer present and it should be easier for characters to move around the city of Paris.

Assassin's Creed Unity should also make it easier for gamers to find partners for cooperative sessions and to make sure that they stay connected for the duration of the missions they tackle.

Assassin's Creed Unity will probably require more work

Ubisoft claims that most problems linked to Assassin's Creed Unity are now fixed but the community will probably continue to report issues, which might require more patches in the future.

The company has already scrapped plans for its Season Pass and will give all those who bought its open world experience free access to the first major package.

The Assassin's Creed China experience will be launched as a standalone title.

The studio says that it’s deeply sorry for the problems that it has caused and wants fans to continue to see the positive elements of the series.

Ubisoft has already confirmed that next year's entry in the series will take gamers to London and will use the name Victory.

Apparently, the title will be designed to introduce a number of new and innovative mechanics and the developers will probably work hard to make sure that the launch process is smoother.
