Assassin's Creed Unity, the next chapter in the action adventure series from Ubisoft, will feature, besides the regular single-player story campaign, a special story-based four-player cooperative mode, and the first glimpse of it is coming at E3 2014.

Ubisoft officially confirmed Assassin's Creed Unity a few weeks ago, after a report appeared with sketchy details about the game, confirming that it was set in the French Revolution.

Now, a brand new piece of news about the game has made it online, this time confirming that Ubisoft will host two demonstrations of Unity at the upcoming E3 2014 event in June.

One will be for the regular single-player campaign and one, according to insider Shinobi602 on Twitter, will be for a brand new four-player cooperative mode.

While a cooperative experience has already been seen in Assassin's Creed games via the Wolfpack mode in multiplayer, this new one is a story-based game type.

As of yet, Ubisoft hasn't confirmed anything else about Unity besides its existence and the teaser trailer seen a few weeks ago. As such, don't expect the French publisher to make any sort of reveal until it's ready to show off the game to the world, probably ahead of E3 2014.

Previous reports have also mentioned that another Assassin's Creed game is coming for PS3 and Xbox 360, while Unity will debut for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
