A massive leak has appeared online about the next Assassin's Creed game, which is apparently subtitled Unity and will feature a new protagonist and is set, at least judging by screenshots, in Paris.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag came out last year and resurrected interest in Ubisoft's franchise by delivering a great action adventure experience and by being supported with quality content post-launch.

Now, Ubisoft is already getting ready to debut this year's installment in the series but a big leak has spoiled its upcoming reveal.

More specifically, Kotaku has obtained a few screenshots from an early build of something called Assassin's Creed Unity, the next game in the series.

As you can see from the images in the gallery below, there's a new protagonist and the game might be set in Paris, as quite a few distinguishable landmarks are present, from the Notre Dame to the Seine River, and more.

While the screenshots seem to be from an early build of the game, the website also claims that Unity is one of the two main Assassin's Creed games that will appear this year, as it will be exclusive to PS4 and Xbox One, and possibly PC. Another title for PS3 and Xbox 360 might also appear.

Ubisoft, as of yet, hasn't commented on the massive leak.
