Ubisoft has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming action-adventure video game, Assassin's Creed Unity, showing off the title's interesting cast of characters.

The video features commentary from Dan Jeannotte, the actor who plays the role of Arno Dorian, the upcoming game's protagonist, offering a brief overview of the events that players will be able to witness while playing the title and delivering some information in regards to the relationships between the characters.

"In Assassin's Creed Unity, Arno will cross paths with colorful personalities from the French Revolution, including historical figures Napoléon Bonaparte, the Marquis de Sade, and Robespierre, alongside all-new characters such as the mysterious Elise."

"Discover how they fit into the world of Assassin's Creed Unity, and get a special sneak peek at the back story of these vibrant characters, from the actors who brought them to life," the new trailer's description reads.

A bigger and better experience

The beginning of the game portrays Arno as a young, inexperienced troublemaker, but then, through his association with the Brotherhood, he embarks on a personal journey that makes him a part of a much larger cause, of a fight that goes beyond his own personal reasons, a fight for the people.

He slowly realizes that there is much more at stake than his own person, and he actively pursues his role during the events of the French Revolution.

One of the only characters he has a relationship with is Elise, a childhood friend looking to avenge her father's death. During his adventures, he will come into contact with other notable historical figures and will slowly uncover what's really going on, and who the forces behind the French Revolution really are.

A great story goes hand in hand with great gameplay

Ubisoft has recreated an almost to scale replica of 18th century Paris, and players will have more freedom to roam its streets than in any other installment in the popular series of video games.

Gamers will have much more options when it comes to navigating the levels and completing their mission objectives, and they will also be able to enter a lot of the buildings they come across.

Furthermore, Unity is the first episode in the long-running series that will enable players to cooperatively tackle its open world, and to work together in order to complete campaign missions.

Assassin's Creed Unity is scheduled to come out on November 11 in North America and on November 13 in Europe and other PAL territories, headed exclusively for PC, the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony, and the Xbox One computer entertainment system from Microsoft.
