Ubisoft may have made a thought provoking franchise in the form of Assassin's Creed, detailing conspiracies between ancient brotherhoods of assassins and Templar knights, but, in the end, it's still about killing enemies in various violent ways, so the new story trailer for the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Revelations isn't shy about detailing the gory deaths you can inflict on enemies during the single-player campaign.

Revelations will answer many questions about its complicated plot, as well as provide closure for its two main protagonists, Altair, from the first game, and Ezio Auditore, from the last two ones, not to mention delve a bit deeper into the new state of Desmond, their current-day ancestor.

In between shedding light on all these stories, players will still be able to dispatch of their enemies in a variety of ways, many now highlighted by the story trailer you can enjoy above.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations is out on November 15, for consoles like the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, and in December for the PC.
