French video game publisher Ubisoft has made available a new map variant for its Assassin’s Creed: Revelations open world game, allowing players to explore the Ippokratous map at night, as a reward for the fact that gamers have managed to rack up more than 15 million assassinations on all platforms.

The Ippokratous Night Map was already playable on the PC, but those on the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft can also now download and play it.

Ubisoft has not yet announced another killing milestone for gamers to try and reach before more content is being delivered for free for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

The PC version of the game has also received a small patch that fixed a number of bugs which appeared both in single and in multiplayer games.

Ubisoft is already working on a new Assassin’s Creed game that will arrive during 2012 and will wrap up the story arc of the series.
