After confirming the existence of Assassin's Creed Liberation HD and that it will appear for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in 2014, Ubisoft has posted the first gameplay video of the upcoming title.

Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation came out last year for the PlayStation Vita and, after lots of feedback from fans, Ubisoft is preparing a special re-release in the form of Assassin's Creed Liberation HD.

The new title uses the engine of Assassin's Creed 3 and will debut in high-definition for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 platforms sometime in 2014 as a downloadable experience.

In order to show off the improvements made to the visuals and gameplay, the first video with Assassin's Creed Liberation HD has just been made available by Ubisoft.

The clip shows off the protagonist of the game, Aveline, in action as she explores New Orleans, the surrounding bayou, or the Mayan Ruins that hold secrets about the ongoing conflict between the Assassins and Templars.
