Quite a few video game companies made their own April Fools announcements yesterday, but a really impressive fan-made video has stolen the proverbial cake, showcasing an Assassin’s Creed game controlled only through the Kinect on the Xbox 360.

Games in the Assassin’s Creed series have allowed users to perform all sorts of things by using different button combinations.

As part of an impressive April Fools joke, a bunch of Assassin’s Creed fans decided to make a video in order to showcase how a game in the franchise would behave using just the Kinect.

In the footage above, you can see players perform all sorts of actions in the game by mimicking them in their own living room, in front of the Kinect.

The whole video is quite impressive and the last few segments are downright hilarious.

Check it out above and don’t forget that it’s just an April Fools trick, so the upcoming Assassin’s Creed III title won’t have Kinect support, at least for now.
