The Winter 2014 bundle also includes a discount on the SHIELD console

NVIDIA started its The Way It’s Meant To Be Played program as a response, of sorts, to AMD's Never Settle free game bundles (Most recently Never Settle Forever). The latest entry has been announced in fact.

It's not totally new though. More like a holiday bundle being reborn as a way to meet the new year head on.

During the third quarter of 2013, NVIDIA shipped the GeForce Titan, GTX 780, GTX 770 and the GTX 680/670/660 with two or more of the following games: Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Batman: Arkham Origins, and Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.

A $50 / €36 - €50 discount for NVIDIA's SHIELD handheld console was included too.

Now, the promo has expired, but NVIDIA has introduced a new bundle, the 2014 Winter Bundle to be specific. It keeps the SHIELD discount, but only has one game, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. It will be available until February 28.
