Video game publisher Ubisoft announces that it is currently planning to launch three new books at the same time as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag: a novel, an art book and a strategy guide created by the development team.

VG247 says that the novel is called Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag and that it will be out on November 7 in the United Kingdom and later in the month in the United States, detailing how Edward Kenway makes the move from privateer to outright pirate.

The art book will be available on October 28 and will feature a special limited edition with two exclusive, signed concept art pieces only offered in 500 copies.

The strategy guide includes a completion guide and analysis of the story.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be out on October 29 in North America and November 1 in Europe and players will be able to get it on the PC, the PlayStation 3 from Sony, the Xbox 360 and the Wii U.

Ubisoft is also planning Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions.
