After seeing a leaked poster and a screenshot yesterday, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, the all-but-confirmed next iteration in the series, has now received a leaked map of its world, depicting the Caribbean islands as well as other locations.

Assassin's Creed 3 focused on Connor Kenway and took place during the American Revolution. For the next game, Ubisoft promised to bring a new protagonist and a new historical setting.

After a few leaks, we now know that the next title is actually a prequel of sorts, putting players in the shoes of Edward Kenway, Connor's grandfather, who apparently was a very successful pirate in the early 1700s.

After seeing a poster and a screenshot leak yesterday, now a map of the game's world has appeared, via Kotaku, showing off some of the Caribbean islands like Cuba or Jamaica, as well as portions of Florida, the Cayo Islands, and the Coast of Andreas.

No other details are known, but Ubisoft is expected to formally reveal the new Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag at a special event later today, February 27.
